Dana Point Harbor to Host Blood Drive

Dana Point Harbor is thrilled to partner with the Red Cross for an upcoming Blood Drive on August 2 from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Donors will receive a free iHeartYoga class, a free Killer Dana Tote Bag, and a cup of coffee or scoop of ice cream from Coffee Importers. 2ND & PCH Announces Summertime Explorers Kids Club

Summertime Explorers is a new interactive weekly kids club for the community to enjoy Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. through August 25th at 2ND & PCH in Long Beach in partnership with Creative Communal. The new series features hands-on, educational crafts and activities encouraging kids to learn and explore each week. Young adventurers are invited to discover the fun and dress-up for each week’s unique theme. A custom photo backdrop will be available to capture memories.
Weekly themes include:
- July 21st: Raddical Reptiles
- July 28th: Jammin’ Explorers
- August 4th: The World of Magic
- August 11th: Under the Sea
- August 18th: Local Heroes + Safety
- August 25th: Ice Cream Social
All are welcome with crafts and entertainment best suited for ages 2 - 10. Summertime Explorers is free to attend and participate. Check-in and photo backdrops are located on Seaport Way, nearest Johnny Was with entertainment near the grand staircase stage. Crafts are distributed on a first come first serve basis, while supplies last. Kids club is held outdoors, weather permitting, with limited shade — attendees should plan accordingly.
