Culinary Events at Inn at The Mission San Juan Capistrano

This September, the  Inn at The Mission San Juan Capistrano and their signature restaurant, Ysidora Restaurant & Lounge are offering culinary events focused on Spanish-inspired cuisine, the Olive Grove, and more in the historic location of San Juan Capistrano: 

September 1st - Tapas & Flamenco

An evening under the stars at Ysidora Restaurant & Lounge filled with authentic Spanish entertainment and cuisine. Naranjita Flamenco comes to the property for a special evening to heat up the night with passionate dancing and vibrant guitar. Two shows are available 6:00-7:00pm or 7:30-8:30pm. Reservations here 

September 8th - NUVO Olive Oil Tasting

Retreat into the property's enchanting Olive Grove to experience A Journey into the Culinary World of California Olive Oil with property partner NUVO Olive Oil. Learn about the history of California olive oil and become experts in how to spot great EVOO, as well as a number of delicious bites such as the signature 'Exploding Olive'; blood orange olive oil cake; balsamic vinegar cocktails; local fruits, nuts, olives, honey, and bread with olive oil and balsamic; as well as EVOO and balsamic based gelato and sorbet from NUVO. September 22nd - Five-Course Ketel One Vodka Pairing Dinner

Join Chef’s Adrian, Carina, and Tony at Ysidora Restaurant & Lounge to enjoy a five-course dinner paired with Ketel One Vodka & Botanicals. This unique dining experience will be hosted by Carl Nolet III as he represents this renowned 11th generation of distillers and shares stories from the 330-year-old family business that makes Ketel One Vodka, the most remarkable vodka in the world. Ojai Burger’s Back to School Special

Ojai Burger has launched an ongoing Student Night and a week-long Back to School campaign – to encourage students to come in and try the PREMIUM Japanese American eats, centrally located near the Chapman campus! Ojai Burger’s menu boasts Japanese flavors & influence with fresh enticing dishes such as the Teriyaki Wagyu Burger, Topa Topa Chicken Sandwich, loaded Wagyu fries, and the Mochi Waffle Sundae.

The week-long ‘Back to School’ campaign offers students 20% off of their orders from Monday, August 29th to Friday, September 2nd when they present a valid student ID at checkout. Beginning the following Monday, September 5th, the ongoing weekly ‘Student Night’ launches, offering 10% off orders for students every Monday also with a valid student ID.
