Andrea’s Couture, the sister salon to Andrea’s Fashions in Los Angeles, just opened in Corona del Mar specializing in customized gowns for special occasions.
Choose from nearly 400 dress options in more than 250 colors and a flawless fit-- with 22 measurements. The mother/daughter team can create one-of-a-kind special occasion gowns, to dresses for ladies attending luncheons. The salon also carries accessories including Nakmol pearls, Cosabella lingerie, Giorgio Martello jewelry, Clara Kasavina purses, as well as shoes.
Celebrate the grand opening at an open house on Thursday, Feb. 2 from 3 to 6 p.m. Enjoy drinks and dessert while perusing the dress selections. RSVP to andreascouture@gmail.com.

Still Life with Wood

Skateboarders and fine art photography enthusiasts will love the current “Still Life with wood” show at AR4T Gallery in Laguna Beach through Sunday, Jan. 22. The show features spectacular skateboarding shots from Grant Brittain, Dave Swift, Miki Vuckovich, Jon Humphries, James Cassimus, and Attiba Jefferson.
All photographs are signed and framed and more affordable images are available from each participating photographer.
Open 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
