Stephanie Danler, Author of ‘Sweetbitter’ At NB Public Library

Stephanie Danler, the author of the international and New York Times bestseller, Sweetbitter will be speaking on Thursday, May 18 at the Newport Beach Public Library Foundation. Stephanie grew up in OC and is coming back to tell the story of her journey - from waitress to acclaimed writer. Her debut novel garnered international attention just one week after its release. Danler's work has appeared in Vogue Magazine, Travel and Leisure, Bon Appetit and O Magazine to name a few.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Program begins at 7 p.m. Book sales and signing; light refreshments

Pastry chef Elyssa Fournier of Mixed Bakery will be at West Elm at South Coast Plaza on Saturday, May 13 from 1 to 5 p.m. for a Mother’s Day Pop-Up. Stop by to pick up some pastries for mom, or you! You can follow her on Instagram @MixedBakeryCDM and on Facebook to see her latest bakery creations, made from scratch of the finest ingredients, and place your order.
Choose from meringue kisses, scones, baked doughnuts, tarts, cookies, breads, bars and much more. You can pick up your goodies at her home, or delivery for a charge is available.
West Elm is in the Crate & Barrel/Macy's Home Store Wing at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.
