Sake Tour and Giveaway

Kabuki Japanese Restaurant is kicking off the fall season with a Sake Tour at each of their OC locations led by Master Sake Sommelier Yuji Matsumoto, one of only two Master Sake Sommeliers recognized by the Sake Service Institute of Japan.

Guests will have the opportunity to try seasonal selections and learn about sake pairings and tasting tips. Yuji’s seasonal sake selections, will be available as well as sake from brand experts who will be on hand to represent each product and answer questions. Guests will not leave hungry, they will have the opportunity to sample a selection of appetizers, rolls and more from the Kabuki menu.

Cost is $20 per person.

We are giving away a pair of tickets to one lucky winner who can choose the date they would like to go. We will announce the winner Wednesday. Just leave a comment on our Facebook page.

Sake Tour and Dates: On Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Kabuki at 7801 Edinger Ave. in Huntington Beach. On Thursday, Oct 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Kabuki at 31 Fortune Drive at Irvine Spectrum. On Thursday, Oct. 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Kabuki at 975 E. Birch St. in Brea.

The Shopping Block in OC

The Shopping Block is coming to the Brea Mall for one day only on Saturday Oct. 18 from noon to 5 p.m.

It’s an experimental fashion marketplace—a collaboration between Refinery29, a style website and Simon, a retail center company---that's travelling across the country.

The Shopping Block is geared towards millennials with indie boutiques, a style concierge, a beauty bar with make up artists offering shoppers mini makeovers, and share the latest beauty tips from the experts at Refinery29. A DIY station will give guests an opportunity to personalize tote bags.

Brea Mall is at 1065 Brea Mall in Brea.
