StyleCon - Where Beauty Meets Fashion Expo

StyleCon, beauty and fashion’s newest event, will debut in Orange County at The Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. StyleCon is a platform for all things style – trends, culture, beauty, fashion and fitness geared towards 16 to 30-year-old fashion-conscious women. Leading brands participating include Topshop, Sleekhair, Kendra Scott, Blushington, Mother Trucker & co., Room & Board, Blowtini and more.
Guests can engage with leading brands, enjoy numerous style panels and fashion presentations, and meet and greets with favorite lifestyle influencers and bloggers. Fun give-a-ways for all include a custom StyleTote valued at more than $75, filled with favorite beauty and fashion finds.
Highlights of StyleCon will include Topshop’s Pop-up Boutique presenting the latest in fall and holiday fashions, unique denim distressing, a nail bar and other exclusive fashion opportunities. Sleekhair is bringing stylists and make-up artists for a spectacular beauty bar with personalized palettes and product advice as well as demonstrations throughout the day.
Blushington is giving complimentary “blush-ups” and StyleCon will also offer food, health and well-being opportunities. You can grab free snacks from SkinnyPOP, VitaCoco, Honest Tea and more. Gourmet food trucks will also offer foods for sale.

John Varvatos 10 Year Anniversary Celebration at South Coast Plaza

Renowned men’s fashion designer John Varvatos celebrated the 10-year anniversary of the opening of the John Varvatos store at South Coast Plaza with a special VIP cocktail party. More than 350 guests, fans and friends of the John Varvatos brand came out to honor the decade long store and meet John Varvatos.
Throughout the John Varvatos store, you can shop for luxurious, well-appointed assortment of both the John Varvatos Collection and John Varvatos Star USA lines curated for the local lifestyle.
John Varvatos Collection reflects Varvatos’ chic, rock n’ roll gentleman esthetic and offers a strong focus on luxury tailored clothing, modern runway pieces and footwear styles with artisanal details. John Varvatos Star USA offers casual sportswear items such as denim, graphic tees and peace sign polo shirts. There’s also the full line of Varvatos men’s fragrances, rock-influenced jewelry, Ernst Benz by John Varvatos limited edition watches and Converse by John Varvatos.
The store’s décor features an eclectic mix of modern and vintage pieces, such as antique mirrors sourced from a Parisian flea market, familiar and unpublished work from the biggest names in rock n’ roll photography, as well as rare intimate portraits and live performance shots of music legends from the 1960’s through current day. In partnership with Rock Paper Photo, Varvatos has selected a collection of images – limited edition fine art prints, hand-signed by the photographers available for purchase.
