Tender Greens Summer Beer Garden & Whole Pig Roast

On Sunday, July 10, Tender Greens will be hosting a Summer Beer Garden & Whole Pig Roast on the outdoor patio at their Hollywood location. Executive Chefs Oliver Plust and Jason Prendergast are getting together to slow roast a Berkshire Whole Pig in a La Caja China.
Menu highlights from the extensive family-style spread includes House Made Jerky, Susie Farms Squash Ratatouille and Stone Fruit Cobbler. Local favorite, Ohana Brewin, will be generously pouring two surprise beers that evening. The all-you-can-eat roast begins at 5:30 p.m. and tickets are sold here for $45.00.
Snacks at the event include Tomato & Gruyere Cheese Focaccia Bread; Pork Rillettes; Cherry Mostarda; Chicharrons; Charred Serrano and White Cheddar Deviled Eggs; Pickled Vegetables; Summer Vegetable Board; Whipped Ricotta, Olive Oil Powder, House Made Rye Bread with Mustard Butter.
Starters include LA Urban Farms “Harvest Salad” Grilled Stone Fruits with Almonds, Ricotta, Salata and Chia Seed Dressing; Scarborough Farms Heirloom Tomato Melon Gazpacho; Torches Burrata Cheese; Smoked Marcona Almonds; Coachella Sweet Creamed Corn; Poblano, Bacon and Brioche Crumble; and Susie Farms Squash Ratatouille.
The main event is a Berkshire Whole Roasted Pig with Chili Rojo, Cilantro, Walnut Chutney, Dark Beer Mustard, and House Made Ketchup
Sweets include Stone Fruit Cobbler, Double Chocolate Walnut Brownie, Goats Yogurt + Chia Seed Pudding with Cherry Compote & Pistachios and Chef Sarah’s Seasonal Desserts.
Brews come from Ohana Brewing and beverages include house made lemonade and Agua Fresca.

Laguna Art-A-Fair 50th Year Of Artistry

Laguna Art-A-Fair, Laguna Beach’s fine art summer festival is celebrating its 50th year of artistry with celebratory events, local collaborations with other art festivals, and much more through August 28.
The next event at the Laguna Art-A-Fair is the Art Auction & Wine event on Sunday, July 10 benefitting the students and programs at the Laguna College of Art + Design. Wine tasting begins at 5 p.m. and the live auction starts at 6 p.m. Art for the auction will be donated by Laguna Art-A-Fair artists and wine will be provided by The California Fruit Wine Co. You can arrive early and stroll the grounds of the art fair and enjoy dinner at Tivoli Too! There will be a live art demonstration by Hugo Rivera and music from Magnolia Memoir.
Attendees are invited take a leisurely walk through the grounds as they enjoy artwork of all different mediums.
Any customer who spends $200 plus at the Laguna Art-A-Fair sales booth through Aug. 13 will have a golden ticket entered into the golden box. A winner will be drawn on Aug. 13, entrants must be present to win and the winner will receive a $500 gift certificate to Laguna Art-A-Fair to use this summer.
The Laguna Art-A-Fair is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Adult tickets cost $7.50, with discounts available for seniors, military personnel and students.
Tivoli Too! Restaurant is located on the grounds, where lunch and dinner are served daily. Live music is featured Thursday-Sunday.
