An Elegant Classic Inspired Thanksgiving Dinner at Selanne Steak Tavern

Chic, welcoming and sophisticated, Selanne Steak Tavern will be serving a three-course – plus an array of market-driven sides for the table – Thanksgiving feast. Gourmet food aficionados will be tempted, and the atmosphere is always festive, fun and hospitality-driven. Selections from the Wine Spectator award-winning wine list and seasonal libations round out this memorable SoCal holiday dining experience.
Selanne Steak Tavern Three-Course Dinner
Thursday, November 24, from noon to 8 p.m.
The First Course offers a choice of Butternut Squash Soup with duck confit, pepita puree and pickled Smith apple; Poached Pear Salad with buckwheat honey goat cheese croquet, red plum and candied pecan; signature Beet “Ravioli” with herbed goat cheese, grapefruit and orange hazelnut dressing; or Caesar Salad with brioche croutons, crispy speck and black garlic aioli. Entrée Course selections are Maple Glazed Kurobuta Leg of Ham accompanied by Smith apple celery root puree; American Prime Ribeye Roast 12oz with Montreal seasoning, fresh creamy horseradish and cabernet jus; or Slow Roasted Mary’s Farm Heritage Turkey Breast along with house cranberry and marsala jus.
The Sides are served for each table, and they will please everyone with their creative preparations: Glazed Butternut Squash with maple miso butter, peanut, and fried sage leaves; Duck Fat Fried Brussels Sprouts with candied orange and pistachio; French and Romano Bean Casserole with porcini cream, pancetta, and crispy shallot; Baby Carrots in lavender honey with crumbled goat cheese and 15-year-aged balsamic; Yukon Potato Puree with Phoenician olive oil and chives; and Brioche Stuffing with winter fruits and candied walnuts. Dessert is either Warm Apple Spiced Crostada or Caramelized Pumpkin Pie.
For this three-course dinner plus sides for the table, $145 per adult; $45 per child (ages four to 12), exclusive of tax and gratuity. Reservations are available by calling (949) 715-9881.
