‘For the Love of a Child’ Childhelp Luncheon

Join the OC Chapter of Childhelp at the 29th annual "For the Love of a Child" Fashion Show and Luncheon on Thursday, March 26 at 11 a.m. at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach. The event will honor Images Salon in Corona del Mar for the "Children's Friend Award.”

For the past 13 years, Images Salon has held a Cut-A-Thon in which the entire staff showed up on their day off and donated all monies to Childhelp. Through their efforts, Images has raised more than $165,000 for Childhelp.

Marie Gray, co-founder of St. John Knits, Inc. will be honored with the "Inspirational Award.“

The luncheon will feature a fantastic fashion show sponsored by South Coast Plaza featuring the latest fashions by Anne Fontaine, Diane von Furstenberg, Eileen Fisher, Saks Fifth Avenue, Stuart Weitzman, Bally, DKNY, Faconnable,  St. John and Ted Baker London. Informal modeling also includes David Yurman and Roberto Cavalli.

Proceeds benefit abused and neglected kids as well Childhelp’s  prevention programs.
