Sunday Suppers at LUCCA

04.15.15

By popular demand, Lucca in Irvine is bringing back its family favorite Sunday Supper on Sunday, April 19 from 3 to 6 p.m. with a special 10-year anniversary dinner. Chef and co-owner Cathy Pavlos replicates her beloved family Sunday suppers she’s maintained since the 1950s. This dinner will feature a four-course menu with Lucca’s time-honored signature dishes, paired with wines hand-selected by her husband and restaurant co-owner Elliott Pavlos.

Chef Cathy will recreate one of her earliest culinary experiences with "A Sunday Supper That My Grandmother Would Have Loved."

The dinner starts at 3 p.m., and will be served family-style on the patio for $85 per person (plus tax and tip). The talk of the table will be a 50lb porcetta!

Prior to the Sunday Supper, Chef Cathy will lead a group through Irvine’s UCI Farmer’s Market on Saturday, April 18 to find the freshest, most flavorful ingredients to be used on during her dinner. Those interested in joining Chef Cathy at the market may email her directly at luccacafe@gmail.com.
