Lamb & Flag in Brea!
12.19.11
Lamb & Flag, a new concept store for men’s and women’s fashions, (ideal for ages 18 to 24) opened its flagship store at Brea Mall. Named after one of the oldest pubs in London, Lamb & Flag is denim-driven featuring updated classics with a rock 'n' roll edge. It’s logo features a “Rebel X” inspired by royalty and rebellion and it’s mantra is “imperfection is the new perfection.”
Lamb & Flag’s namesake label includes vintage denim styles, off-the-shoulder knits, cinched dresses, color-blocked sweatshirts, logo’d tees, striped hoodies, and military jackets. Prices range from $56 to $98 for denim, $22 to $68 for tees and wovens and $48 to $128 for outerwear. Other lifestyle brands available at include A.P.C, Nudie, Cheap Monday, RVCA and many more.
Lamb & Flag will also be debuting fragrances: Men’s No. 18 and Women’s No. 12, and will be opening two more stores next month at The Shops at Mission Viejo, and Los Cerritos Center.
Dining

Peri-Peri Delicious!
12.14.11
Fans of Mozambique in Laguna Beach can now dine at its newly opened sister restaurant at The Bluffs in Newport Beach.
Mozambique Peri-Peri is a new concept serving many of the same dishes as its original restaurant, but in smaller portions and in a casual dining atmosphere. (It’s named after Peri-Peri, a red pepper used in many African and
Portugese dishes.)
The menu includes starters such as vegetarian or beef samosas served with cilantro aioli, grilled prawns and chicken pops (marinated chicken served with Asian slaw and Peri-Peri sauce.)
Or choose from delicious curry bowls, wraps, or grilled items including a steak sandwich with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato and spicy aioli; boerewors sausage on a Portuguese roll; chicken Peri-Peri; or an 8 oz. Mozambique burger.
There are salads; large platters for sharing, or a family style menu. Mozambique Peri-Peri also serves hard-to-find domestic and Eastern African beer, and South African wines.
Open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Mozambique Peri-Peri is in The Bluffs shopping center at MacArthur Blvd. and Bison Ave. in Newport Beach. 949.718.0956.
