Antiquing for Oklahoma Disaster Relief

The Oklahoma disaster relief via the American Red Cross will be the non-profit beneficiary of this month’s Orange County Antique Market on Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the OC Market Place in Costa Mesa. More than 75 antique vendor will be there, plus you’ll receive an entry to the Orange County Market Place with nearly 1,000 vendors. $2 per person – children 12 and under are free. Available at the door.
                      
OC Fair & Event Center is at 88 Fair Drive in Costa Mesa.

Firefighters Free Lunch Friday at Prego’s

To coincide with the one-year anniversary of the fire that closed Prego Ristorante in Irvine for five months, the restaurant will be thanking the efforts of local firefighters on Friday, June 21 from 3 to 6 p.m. with its inaugural Firefighter Appreciation Day. Firefighters are invited to enjoy a complimentary lunch featuring Chef Ugo Allesina’s signature Italian specialties.

There will also be drink specials for off-duty firefighters. More than 70 firefighters who worked together to put out the fire last year are invited, as well as all other local firefighters.
