1. What is your typical day like?
My typical day usually depends on how the waves are. If the waves are good obviously I spend the majority of my time surfing. However, if the waves are bad I like to work ahead in school, paint, hang out with friends, and go on hikes.
2. What do you do for cross training?
For cross training I tumble, run and train at Forged in Fitness. I also like to take my dogs on runs.
3. What is a weakness in your surfing that you are working on?
My weakness is definitely surfing small waves. I'm always trying to motivate myself to go practice in horrible waves!
4. How do you motivate yourself to surf when the waves are bad?
I motivate myself by realizing that the majority of contest are not in good ways. Therefore, in order to do well I know I have to practice in all conditions.
5. Did you see Maya Gabeira's wipeout? Can you see yourself surfing big waves in the future?
Yes I did see the wipeout! It was crazy and I was scared for her. However, I completely respect her decisions and think she is a very inspiring, dedicated, and talented surfer!
I like to push my limits when it comes to big waves. However, I definitely know my limit. HA HA
6. What’s your most prized possession?
My most prized possessions are my surfboard and iPhone. I don't go anywhere without either of them.
7. Favorite drink?
I love veggie juice! I usually make it myself. My mom bought a Vita Mix and I use it everyday. I’m a vegan so I have to stay on top of my nutrition.
8. What can’t you live without?
I can't live without my family.
9. Fantasy purchase?
I want my own boat so I can travel around the world by sea!
10. What’s next on your “to do” list?
I really want to try skydiving =)
11. Biggest regret?
There is nothing I regret that much in my life to remember. I think every experience you go through you learn a lesson, and those lessons are what shape you as a person.
12. Cause that you’re most interested/involved in?
I recently participated in the Second Harvest Food Drive. I got the chance to help feed hundreds of underprivileged Orange County families. It was an incredible day and I left feeling very good about myself. I also try and send my old boards, wetsuits and surf gear to the Philippines (mom is Philippino) where we have contacts that distribute the stuff to underprivileged kids. It feels great to be able to put my old gear to a really worthy use.
13. Your dream day in Orange County?
Everyday in Orange County is a dream day.
14. Favorite place for breakfast?
Mothers Market has a really good, healthy breakfast!

The best day in my life in my surfing career was when I surfed Teahupoo in Tahiti with Raimana.
16. Last concert that you went to?
For Halloween I went to a dress up concert and saw Tyga. It was a blast.
17. Favorite vacation spot?
Tahiti!
18. If you had to live somewhere else, where would that be?
I think I would live in Hawaii again it's kind of like a second home. I love it there and wouldn't have a problem living in paradise!
19. Favorite restaurants in Orange County?
Daphne's Greek Cafe is a great place for lunch! I absolutely love Greek food and they have the best salads there.
20. Secret most people don’t know about you?
A secret most people don't know about me is that when I was little I used to believe in fairies. I also used to collect them. I had over a hundred fairies. My mom would sometimes call me on the phone and disguise her voice and pretend she was my fairy godmother. And whenever I'd see fireflies I thought they were fairies and I'd try to catch them. I believed in fairies until I was 10 years old.
