Fashion Meets Charity to end Leukemia & Lymphoma

Fashion meets charity at the 4th Annual Gala and Fashion Show for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Essex Skyline in Santa Ana. The event will feature a luxury lingerie, swimwear and a ready-to-wear fashion show headlined by La Perla Lingerie, Max Mara, HUGO by Hugo Boss and Baccarat jewelry); as well as ten of Orange County’s top executive chefs from Charlie Palmer, ANQI, Season’s 52, Scott’s Restaurant and Bar, and others providing gourmet bites, desserts, sparkling wine and signature cocktails. Chairman of the Angels, Dennis Kuhl, will be the speaker on behalf of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
The black-tie gala will also include silent and live auction items from South Coast Plaza, Lamborghini, Tesla, Angels Baseball, and vacations to exotic destinations, pampering, skincare, jewelry, and more. Proceeds will help to raise funds for blood cancer research and patient services.
VIP tickets which include exclusive reserved show seating, VIP lounge access, and luxury gift bags are available in limited quantity for $250. General admission tickets cost $150.

Pipeline to a Cure

The seventh annual Pipeline to a Cure gala will take place at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 19.
Join Laird Hamilton, Dave Kalama, and Jamie Mitchell, other athletes, musicians and surf industry giants to celebrate the amazing benefits that surfing brings to the CF community. This year’s Emily’s Heroes honoree will be the Hennessy Family. Jerry and Cheri Hennessy and their family have supported the Cystic Fibrosis cause, helping to raise millions of dollars for research to find a cure.
A co-founder of BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. Hennessy helped build the chain to more than 100 locations, and is now co-founder and co-Ceo of STACKED:Food Well Built.
