Swimspot Debuts Virtual Mannequins

11.21.16

SwimSpot ushered out the fabricated mannequins that weren’t what real woman looked like anyway—to bring real women to the forefront. Inside the new flagship store at Fashion Island, Swimspot debuted modern virtual mannequins that showcase women of all ages, shapes and sizes wearing the hottest swimwear of the season.

The virtual mannequins show women how great they can look wearing the latest swimwear. SwimSpot embraces diversity to meet the changing needs of realness and authenticity the retail world needs.

“We are always looking through the consumer lens,” said Lisa Vogel, co-owner of SwimSpot. “Since the virtual mannequins have been installed, customers have walked by, paused, and taken a sigh of relief. They see a 50-year old mom and say, hey, I can look like that too!”

SwimSpot offers swimwear and active wear brands that cater to the contemporary active woman. Contemporary brands include Ella Moss, Basta, and Splendid. Swimspot carries a large assortment of active brands including Reef and Next. And, Athena and Luxe by Lisa Vogel cater to the luxury woman.

Open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
