Corgi Christmas Parade in Long Beach

12.01.16

By Asma Mohammed

Corgi Beach Day is a dog lover’s dream come true! Every season, there is a special day for corgis at a different beach in Southern California. This past October, Corgi Beach Day was held at the Huntington Dog Beach and drew in more than 1,000 corgis and their owners! It’s always a successful event with costume contests, best momo (that’s the name for a corgi’s rear end) contests, and talent shows.

Corgis get to strut their stuff on dog beaches for their adoring fans! There is typically three meet-ups a year, however next Saturday, December 3rd, there will be a Corgi Christmas Parade held in Long Beach.

The events are hosted by So Cal Corgi Nation and are always popular and crowded! Bring your corgi and participate in the parade, or simply stand at the sides and watch all the other corgis parade through the street with their Christmas sweaters and hats! Usual Corgi Beach Day meet ups are April 9, July 2, and October 29.

You can follow So Cal Corgi Beach Day on Facebook to keep up-to-date on all corgi happenings in the near future!
