Paws FUR Pink

02.17.17

Paws FUR Pink is a dog-friendly run/walk SoCal series for breast and canine cancer awareness. On Sunday, February 26, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. you can join Paws FUR Pink Orange County at Irvine Regional Park in Orange. Participants can register to run or walk with their dogs and raise funds for charity paw-tners, which include the Orange County and Los Angeles Affiliates of Susan G. Komen, and the National Canine Cancer Foundation (NCCF).

“We created an event that includes dogs because we understand that the love of our pets is what we need to feel better,” said Lisa Scolman, co-founder of Paws FUR Pink. “We’re dedicated to supporting organizations that provide the necessary research, treatment, care, hope and inspiration to those affected by this disease. This year, we are thrilled to also be raising funds for canine cancer research with the National Canine Cancer Foundation.”

At the event, you and your beloved dog can participate in the Hearty Hound 5K Fun Run/Walk; a Dawdling Doodle 1-Mile Walk; and attend a FURever Yours Expo. There will be a PAWsitively Pink Costume Contest and custom medals and t-shirts to all participants.
