Bacon Day at Snooze

08.31.17

On Saturday, Sept. 2, Snooze, an A.M. Eatery is bringing home the bacon at its Tustin location for Bacon Day. Enjoy a special, bacon-filled menu featuring: a bacon pancake (Wake Me Up Before You Oink Oink Pancake), a bacon benny (Farmhouse BLT Benny), and a bacon cocktail (Bacon Bomber).

True to its mission of supporting its communities and for the second year in a row, Snooze will donate 10% of sales from all eateries on September 2nd to Slow Food USA – a nonprofit organization that inspires people to create change for good, clean and fair food. This year, proceeds from Snooze’s Bacon Day will directly benefit Slow Food’s national and local work in communities; specifically, their upcoming Menu for Change campaign, which will encourage people to consider how their food choices impact climate change and how they can take action.

In addition to tasty bacon specials, Snooze is also giving four diners the chance to win free Tender Belly bacon and a Slow Food USA membership for one whole year! To enter to be considered for the savory prize:

Get creative and write a bacon-inspired haiku or poem, and share in a comment on the “Bacon  Day” post on the official Snooze Facebook Page at Snooze.Official.Page

Four guests will walk home with the prize of a year’s worth of free Tender Belly bacon and a free, one-year membership to Slow Food USA.
