8th Annual Getzlaf Golf Shootout Benefiting CureDuchenne

CureDuchenne, a leading nonprofit focused on funding research to find a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, is honored to announce that ActivePDF will serve as the Presenting Sponsor for the 8th Annual Getzlaf Golf Shootout on Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Monarch Beach Golf Links.
ActivePDFs ongoing support through the Getzlaf Golf Shootout has helped raise more than $2M allowing CureDuchenne to fund 6 cutting-edge research projects as well as serve as a strategic partner in the DuchenneXchange, a safe and collaborative online platform where the Duchenne Community can connect to critical resources for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

International Culinary Tours: Israel and Argentina 2019

Have you always dreamed of going on a culinary tour? There are two in the works from International Culinary Tours based in Laguna Niguel. Save the 2019 dates for these two new exciting tours: Israel Culinary and Culture - Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Sea of Galilee, Golan Heights on May 11-20, 2019; and Argentina Culinary and Hiking - Buenos Aires and Patagonia on Feb. 10-19, 2019. Limited to 14 guests.
The Israel Culinary and Culture tour on May 11-20 includes a walking tour of Tel Aviv and Jaffa flea market and participating in a cooking workshop and lunch with a Druze family. You can walk in the Roman ruins of Caesarea, and explore the Old City of Jerusalem including the Western Wall and Via Dolorosa. You’ll also visit the ancient fortress of Masada and float in the Dead Sea.
The Argentina Culinary and Hiking tour on Feb. 10 – 19 to Buenos Aires and Patagonia includes experiencing a tango show and cooking class in Buenos Aires; visiting the neighborhoods of La Boca, Recoleta, San Telmo; Trekking from Cerro Fitz Roy to Laguna de Los Tres (Los Glaciares National Park); and viewing one of the world’s great wonders Perito Moreno Glacier. And, an overnight on an Estancia to experience Patagonian rural life.
