Everyday Discounts on Train Travel All Summer

This summer; Amtrak Pacific Surfliner is supporting train travel to top destinations, events, and venues throughout Southern California with exclusive discounts. The California Everyday Discounts program offers year-round savings on train travel for seniors, students, and passengers with disabilities.
The Pacific Surfliner route travels between San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo, connecting nearly 3 million passengers a year to many of Southern California’s top destinations.
The following discounts are available for Pacific Surfliner trips booked online, by phone, and at staffed Amtrak stations:
- Seniors Save 15%: Travelers ages 62 and older receive a 15% discount on the regular adult fare with the promo code V282.
- Passengers with Disabilities save 15%: Adult passengers with a disability receive a 15% discount on the regular adult fare with the promo code V577.
- Students Save 15%: Students ages 13-25 with a valid student ID are eligible for 15% off the regular adult fare with the promo code V353.
- Kids Ride 50% Off: One child (ages 2-12) ride half-price with a paid adult. Ages 2 and younger ride free. No promo code needed.
