Segerstrom Center’s 11th Annual Disney Musicals in Schools Student Share Celebration

03.10.25

Segerstrom Center for the Arts is gearing up for its 11th Annual Disney Musicals in Schools Student Share Celebration on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. This event showcases the incredible journey of students from Brookhurst Elementary, Dr. CC Violet Elementary, Evans Elementary, and Wood Canyon Elementary as they bring Disney classics to life with excerpts from The Lion King KIDS, The Jungle Book KIDS, and Aladdin KIDS.

Since September 2024, students have immersed themselves in storytelling, music, and choreography, building confidence, teamwork, and communication skills. The celebration will be hosted by Disneyland Resort Ambassador Jada Young, whose passion for youth education and servant leadership makes her a perfect fit for this special night.

Segerstrom Center continues to support arts education beyond the stage, inviting alumni school teachers for a professional development event and a performance of Hamilton in May, as well as offering this year’s students a special outing to see The Gruffalo’s Child in April—covering all costs, including tickets and transportation.
