Mother’s Market will host a special short film detailing Alaffia’s mission with the company’s founder, Olowo-n’djo Tchala, on hand to answer questions from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Through the sales of its Shea butter products, Alaffia funds community projects, including building schools and funding maternal health projects, and partners with clinics to fund prenatal care and counseling to hundreds of women annually.  Alaffia offers cleansers, toners, moisturizers, facial serums, lip balms; as well as Shea butter body care such as soaps, lotions, creams and balms; Shea Butter Hair Care, shampoos and conditioners.

A portion of the sales of an exclusive travel-sized Shea butter hand cream, specifically created for Mother’s Market, will go toward the company’s fundraising efforts.
