TV Mom Florence Henderson at Visionary Women Luncheon
04.22.15
In honor of Mother’s Day, one of the most famed TV moms, actress Florence Henderson from “The Brady Bunch,” will be the guest speaker at the 9th annual Visionary Women Luncheon for the Alzheimer’s Association, Orange County on Friday, May 15. The event at the beautiful Rancho Las Lomas in Silverado Canyon, will honor five outstanding caregivers who have selflessly dedicated their lives to caring for people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
Attendees can arrive at the picturesque Rancho Las Lomas at 10 a.m. to enjoy an artisan gift faire featuring handmade items, a silent auction and a gourmet lunch. You can stroll throughout the lush gardens at the 32-acre resort, which also features a zoological garden with wildlife such as zebras and white Bengal tigers.
Florence Henderson knows first hand the challenge that incurable diseases bring to families, as her husband was diagnosed with a terminal illness in 2002. Since then she has helped others by sharing her story of hope as a healthcare and motivational speaker.
One of Orange County’s most anticipated events, the luncheon is organized by Visionary Women 1000, a group of local women whose mission is to support the nonprofit by raising funds and awareness of Alzheimer’s and related forms of dementia.
Individual seats are available for $150 and VIP seats are $250. Sponsorship packages start at $2,500 for Silver Sponsor, $5,000 for Gold Sponsor, $10,000 for Presenting Sponsor and $25,000 for Title Sponsor.
