Summer is around the corner, which means what to do with the kids? Learn about fun summer activities for kids at the OC Family Camp & Activities Fair Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Irvine Spectrum Center in Irvine. More than 40 of the hottest summer camps will be represented at the Giant Wheel Court, plus live performances, entertainment, balloon artists, face painters and much more. BRUNO AWARDED AS A CNN HERO!

Ever since he graced the pages of People magazine and was featured with Katie Couric on the CBS Evening News, we’ve been waiting for Anaheim White House proprietor and bon vivant, Bruno Serato, to get more national attention for his good works as a philanthropist extraordinaire.
That hope will become a reality on Friday, Mar. 25, as Serato is being lauded as a real CNN Hero!
Serato secretly flew to New York a couple of weeks back to tape the broadcast (and then went onto Italy to visit Mama), which shows how he feeds more than 40,000 underprivileged “motel kids” via the Anaheim Boys & Girls Club each year.
Why is CNN honoring Serato with such a prestigious award and how did he get started feeding the hungry?
In honor of his beloved mother, Serato founded Caterina’s Club whose mission is to make sure that the region’s most vulnerable population – its children -- receive a hot meal before they are tucked into bed. So, each day at 6 p.m., 150 dinners are prepared and delivered to poor children who live in low-cost motel rooms without full kitchens.
