Spring Celebration at Downtown Anaheim Certified Farmers’ Market!

Every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., he Downtown Anaheim Certified Farmers’ Market and Craft Fair takes over Lemon Street and Center Street Promenade to bring you the best in local produce, flowers, eggs, bbq, nuts, tamales, crafts and more. On Thursday, April 14, it will also include a spring celebration with free spring-themed craft activities for kids from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the first 150 children will receive a mini Easter Basket with treats. Families can also enjoy free photos with the Easter Bunny from 2 to 4 p.m.
These free activities are made possible by Debbie Esquivel of Paul Knott Realtors and Anaheim First Presbyterian Church. Eva Sowinski artist and owner of Lacy Ink. and Critterosity will be offering affordable face painting & original art.
This certified farmers’ market, based in the “heart of Anaheim,” is a great way for neighbors to connect and shop local.

Easter Fun & Brunch at Hyatt Regency Huntington

Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa is hosting a spectacular Easter celebration that includes brunch, live jazz trio, three Easter egg hunts with the the Easter Bunny, roaming balloon artists and showing of the popular children’s movie “Zootopia.”
The “Put Your Eggs Into One Basket Brunch” is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The dining extravaganza with an ocean view will be set on the resort’s sprawling green Lighthouse Lawn with more than 10 specialty dining stations and a live jazz band. Gourmet dining options at the bounteous buffet range from starters such as Carrot-Ginger Soup with Lemon Crème Fraiche and Carrot Top Gremolata; Local Halibut Ceviche with Crispy Tostadas, and Crab Cakes Hot off the Griddle to entrees that include Herb & Pepper Encrusted Carved Baron of Beef; Honey and Tangerine Glazed Easter Ham with Cherry Onion Marmalade and Cedar Plank Roasted Salmon with Saffron and an Herb Aioli.
The endless sweets display will overflow with a chocolate fountain surrounded by treats for dipping, a gelato bar, burnt sugar caramel flan and assorted whole cakes, pastries and cake pops. With unlimited Champagne, coffee, tea and sodas for adults $87; for seniors 65+ $76; for kids 6-12 $28 and kids under five are free.
