1. What character in a movie or book do you most identify with?
The humble characters, the character that’s stern yet likable.
2.Cause that you’re most interested/involved in?
Any cause that has to do with children. Any really anything that helps out people and our community.
3. Favorite vacation spot?
Any beach, I’m a simple guy and a day on the beach often feels like a vacation.
4. Where haven't you been that you're dying to go?
Patagonia, I would love to hike and rock climb the southern parts of Argentina.
5. What’s your next major goal in life?
Ultimate success!
6. Who had the biggest influence on your life?
So many people, but two really stand out; my beautiful mother who taught me how to treat people, and James Boyce who mentored me and help me fully understand what it meant to be a chef.
7. Favorite drink?
Dirty Reyka martini over ice with two olives.
8. What can’t you live without?
Can’t live without American cheese, as much as try to give it up there is something very satisfying about a slice of it.
9. Last major purchase?
Hiking and rock climbing gear.
10. Dumbest investment?
SPNG (sponge tech) flop.
11. What’s your most prized possession?
Most prized possession Ben, Noah and Ella, without a doubt.
12. Biggest accomplishment?
James Beard nomination.
13. What's your biggest fear?
Biggest fear has to be losing my edge in the kitchen.
14. Who is your favorite artist?
Pierre Gagniare.
15. If you had to begin a different career, what would you do?
Day trader, love the hustle and bustle of the market.
16. Secret most people don’t know about you?
I have no secrets, what you see is what you get.
17. Your dream day?
Outdoors with love ones.
18. Your biggest extravagance?
Life!
19. Last concert that you went to?
Last concert, holy cow it’s been a long time, didn’t actually go but Lil Wayne, at the Montage Beverly Hills.
20. What was the best day in your life?
Best day in my life was yesterday but I’m sure today will far surpass that.
