Art in the Park to Feature Over 100 Artists
09.12.24
The Newport Beach Arts Foundation will host the 19th annual Art in the Park on Saturday, September 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Newport Beach Civic Center. This beloved community event will feature over 100 Southern California artists showcasing their work across various media, including painting, ceramics, photography, textiles, jewelry, glass, wood, and more.
Attendees can also enjoy live music by the Haley Copello Band and a selection of food from local food trucks. Returning favorites such as Baby’s Burgers will be joined by Fuego Up, with desserts provided by Kathy’s Events. It offers an ideal opportunity to enjoy a meal, listen to music, and engage with the artists.
As the primary fundraiser for the Newport Beach Arts Foundation, Art in the Park plays a crucial role in supporting the Newport Beach Arts Commission. Proceeds help fund school tours, the acquisition of significant works of art for the City of Newport Beach, and contribute to the enhancement of the city’s arts and cultural programming, including the Sculpture Exhibit at Civic Center Park.
The event is free and open to the public, with free parking available. Visitors will have the chance to browse and purchase art, and children can participate in free art activities provided by Arts in Motion.
