Sea of Sunflowers Bloom at The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch
05.02.23
If you're looking for a beautiful and unique outdoor experience this May, head over to The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch. With the arrival of May comes the peak bloom of 50 acres of beautiful ranunculus, as well as the stunning 5-acre Sea of Sunflowers.
The Sea of Sunflowers patch features sunflowers of all colors, shapes, and sizes and is included in the price of entry. Visitors can hop on a brand-new Tractor Wagon Ride and get dropped off right in the heart of this sunflower sanctuary. Some sunflowers are as big as small moons, while others tower over 12 feet high, making for a perfect photo opportunity. The Flower Fields recommends visiting mid-week to avoid the crowds and get the best photo opportunities.
In addition to the Sea of Sunflowers, The Flower Fields boasts 50 million Giant Tecolote Ranunculus blooms spread across 50 acres. The display is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Mother's Day on Sunday, May 14.
Single ticket admission to The Flower Fields is $23 for adults, $21 for seniors 60+ and military, $12 for children 3-10, and free for children under three. Season passes are available for purchase, and group tours are also available. To make your visit even more special, The Flower Fields is offering 2023 week-day specials.
On Mondays, with the purchase of one adult or one senior/military ticket, you receive one child's ticket free (ages 3-10). On Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 1 p.m. - 4 p.m., receive $2 off adult, senior/military, and children's tickets.
Don't miss out on the chance to experience the natural beauty of The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch this May.
