Set in a quaint European village, this beloved ballet follows the story of the eccentric inventor, Doctor Coppélius. Young Franz finds himself enamored by the mysterious girl he spots on the balcony of Doctor Coppélius’s house, unaware that she's actually a doll the toymaker is attempting to animate. When Swanhilda, Franz's fiancée, decides to investigate and discovers the truth, she devises a playful scheme to reveal Franz's folly by impersonating the doll herself. Love ultimately triumphs, culminating in a joyous celebration of the lovers' union.
Featuring lively music by Léo Delibes and choreography by Artistic Director Salwa Rizkalla, inspired by Arthur Saint-Léon, this production showcases renowned guest artists in the lead roles. Originally premiering on May 25, 1870, at the Paris Theatre Imperial Opera, this timeless ballet continues to enchant audiences worldwide.

Earth Day Celebration: Vegan Sushi & Organic Cocktails at Ocean Prime Beverly Hills

In honor of Earth Day on April 22nd, Ocean Prime Beverly Hills is hosting a celebration featuring vegan sushi rolls, organic cocktails, plant-based dishes, and more!
To commemorate Mother Earth and raise awareness about the environmental impact of overfishing, Ocean Prime Beverly Hills is offering a limited-time vegan sushi roll. This roll consists of a Cucumber-Wrapped Roll filled with organic heirloom carrots, golden beets, daikon sprouts, asparagus, and avocado. It is garnished with baby squash tempura, ramp gremolata, and nori dust, and served with a spring onion ponzu sauce. The vegetables used in the rolls are locally sourced from Vesta Foodservice, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to supporting local purveyors.
This special roll can be enjoyed alongside an Organic Strawberry French 76 cocktail, exclusively available for Earth Day. The cocktail features strawberry, lemon, basil-infused organic Belvedere Vodka, All-Natural St. Germain Liqueur, and Laurent Perrier Champagne, all of which are organically farmed and sustainably produced. It is served in a martini glass with a classic lemon twist.
