Unique Tan, Orange County's premiere bronzing boutique, is hosting their monthly Beauty Bar this Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. This one stop beauty shop encourages the coming together of local entrepreneurs; where owner Sherry Lee Meredith brings the many aspects of the beautification process together in a fun filled night with everything covered from skin, hair, nails, fashion, fitness, jewelry and makeup.
As if this all inclusive locale wasn't awesome enough - Beauty Bar is throwing in services and products to all whom attend; like free bed and airbrush tans brought to you by the Unique Tan staff, makeup application and hair tutorials by makeup artist Natalie B and hair stylist Nicole Martin, one-on-one Pilates instruction with Essence of Health fitness studio, consultations with chief surgeons at Orange County Plastic Surgery Medical Associates and a first look at the latest collection from favorite local jewelry designer Mishka Piaf.
Now when you're juggling career, family and relationships it wont be so hard to look and feel great; book this one monthly appointment and there will no longer be the need to drive all over town. Thanks to Sherry and her team, the first 25 readers who attend the event and mention this article will receive a $50 gift card, I can't think os a better way to begin your new beauty routine!

Vintage Moss and New Rock
01.24.12
We just discovered a must-know about boutique in a budding part of Long Beach. The new Moss & Rock specializes in new and vintage clothing for men and women and accessories. Owner, Cat Madrid-Barone styles clients with new and vintage styles, and she carries updated vintage items that have been re-made with modern cuts and fits, making pieces more wearable. (Men’s selection is mostly new clothing.) Some of Moss & Rock’s exclusive designer brands include DiLascia’s Bakery, Land Of Apparel, Civil Society, Unico, Andrew Christian, For Love & Lemons, Redux/Ritual, NeonBrunette Vintage and Little Dirt Road. Moss & Rock is a hip spot where you can also find artwork, home decor and handmade soy candles made by a Long Beach native, and it offers a separate space for bands and live entertainment.
Mention Greer’s OC and receive 10% off, purchases of $50 or more.
Moss & Rock is at 2752 East Broadway in Long Beach. 562.438.9354.
Open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
