The Aura Light Therapy Mask
10.24.22
Facial masks are all the rage for home use and for aestheticians. Now there’s a four-in-one LED light therapy mask that helps eliminate bacteria that cause clogged pores, oily skin, and inflammation via red, blue, yellow, and multicolor lights. It even reduces new breakouts and treats facial scars.
The Emberela AURA Light Therapy Mask is a mask that addresses different skin types and issues. With five combinations of lights ( \Red, Blue, Yellow, and Multi-color), it's a must-have mask for anyone that is trying to improve their skin tone, texture, acne issues, wrinkles, pigmentation, and much more.
- The Red Light has - 620 nm
- The Blue Light has - 460nm
- The Yellow Light has - 590nm
- The Multi-Color light has - 425nm
It's lightweight, soft, and flexible - not like so many of those that are hard/stiff and super heavy. This mask also includes built-in eye protection which you can easily read, work or watch TV, and is made of food-grade silicone which makes it easy to clean. And another benefit of this mask is it's the only one that comes with a customized stand for applying the mask to your hand - which we all know is one of the first places that aging shows.
It makes an amazing gift for anyone. As a special for Greer’s OC readers, apply promo code "greers" at emberela.com for a discount from $119 to $99.

The Balboa Island Museum 2nd Annual Fun Zone Festival
10.21.22
Named by the Los Angeles Times as “Best of the Southland” 2022 museums, The Balboa Island Museum Newport Beach “Preserving the history of Newport Harbor”, invites the community to its 2nd annual Fun Zone Festival on Friday, November 4. The Friday evening fall extravaganza at the Newport Peninsula Fun Zone will be transformed by the Balboa Island Museum team led by Shirley Pepys, chairman and daughter Tiffany Pepys Hoey, executive director, working with Linda Young of Elite O.C. Productions creating an al fresco pavilion for museum guests.
A prominent area of the Fun Zone will be sectioned off for the carnival-themed event. A spectacular black, white, red, and gold color scheme will set the mood for a stunning stilt walker, magician, and carnival games and prizes.
The adults-only party will serve fabulous custom specialty cocktails and food stations with over-the-top fun zone favorites accented with a serious blend of amazing choices.
All this with carnival games prizes galore and dancing under the lights of the shimmering Ferris wheel to the popular local band Reflexx. The Fun Zone Festival is the most important fundraiser for Balboa Island Museum Newport Beach which relies 100% on donations. Every dollar supports the year-long programs and exhibitions that attract locals and visitors from all over the nation and beyond.
Major support for the Fun Zone Festival comes from Julia and George Argyros, prominent advocates of the museum and its programs and its important place in the community. Additional underwriting is needed.
Tickets are $200 per person and may be purchased by visiting BIMNBFunZoneFestival.com or calling the museum at 949.675.3952 for more information.
