Farmhouse Presents New Spring Cocktails, Continues Swig for Selflessness Charity Program
04.28.23
Farmhouse at Roger’s Gardens welcomes spring with a new cocktail menu courtesy of lead bartender Corey Levine and his team. The seasonal sips join the weekly Swig for Selflessness offering which features a new cocktail each week and benefits a local charity with 50 percent of proceeds donated.
Highlighting the season's freshest produce gathered during Owner & Executive Chef Rich Mead’s weekly trips to the Santa Monica Farmers Market, Corey Levine's seasonally inspired menu toasts to springtime with the most vibrant flavors of the moment utilizing ingredients from local farmers.
The three refreshing new cocktails are named after favorite songs by Lenny Kravitz, Janis Joplin, and Jimmy Hendrix. The botanicals of the gin cocktail, Kozmic Blue, made with berry shrub, lemon, and soda, capture the essence of spring for a bright, sparkling, and refreshing warm-weather sip.
The two rum cocktails, Eleutheria and Voodoo Child showcase a more focused approach to rum as a base spirit beyond the sugary, tiki-style drinks and use different amari to bring layers throughout the cocktails. Farmhouse is also featuring a diverse spectrum of rum offerings this spring highlighting rums from different regions that are perfect for sipping or enjoying in your favorite drink.
Having started in 2019, Farmhouse’s weekly Swig for Selflessness initiative has grown year after year with more than $50,000 donated to local charities in 2022 alone. The weekly swig reflects the creativity of Farmhouse's talented cocktail specialists and the best of Farmhouse's bar program with a new innovative cocktail on the menu benefitting a different charity each Monday with 50 percent of proceeds donated.
Stock up for the week and take cocktails to-go or sip slowly while enjoying al fresco in Farmhouse's beautiful, garden setting.
11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. daily
Farmhouse at Roger’s Gardens is at 2301 San Joaquin Hills Rd., Corona del Mar.
