Puesto Celebrates National Taco Day with Golden Tickets

In celebration of National Taco Day on October 4th, Puesto Mexican Artisan Kitchen & Bar is hosting a special event where guests have a chance to win a Puesto Golden Ticket—a ticket that holds a $50 gift card! On this day, Puesto will randomly attach a Golden Ticket to the bottom of three-taco plates ordered for dine-in service. This exciting promotion will run throughout the day at all three Puesto locations in Orange County, as long as the supply of Golden Tickets lasts.
Puesto currently offers the following taco options, each served on a handmade, organic, non-GMO corn tortilla:
CHICKEN AL PASTOR – crispy melted cheese, braised free range Jidori chicken, hibiscus & chipotle tinga, avocado, piña habanero pico (GF)
SPRING LAMB BARBACOA – traditionally braised leg of lamb, mint avocado salsa, nopales pico, herb salad (GF)
TAMARINDO SHRIMP – crispy shrimp, tamarindo-chile sauce, classic guacamole (GF)
BAJA FISH – Puesto beer battered local line-caught fish, shredded cabbage, classic guacamole, crema, Morita salsa
SHORT RIB QUESABIRRIA – crispy melted cheese, Jalisco salsa, pickled radish, classic guacamole (GF)
RIBEYE – marinated ribeye, asada pico, tomatillo-árbol salsa, queso fresco
FILET MIGNON – crispy melted cheese, marinated filet mignon, avocado, spicy pistachio serrano salsa (N)
CARNITAS – crispy melted cheese, traditionally braised Salmon Creek Farms pork, tomatillo salsa, avocado (GF)
POZOLE – crispy melted cheese, braised Salmon Creek Farms pork, avocado, cabbage, radish, cilantro, crunchy hominy (GF)
MUSHROOM – crispy melted cheese, garlic braised seasonal mushrooms, pickled onions, stone fruit serrano salsa, hearts on fire (GF, V)
VERDURAS – crispy melted cheese, rajas, tatume squash, papas, corn & tomato, nopales, avocado, jalapeño, zucchini blossom (GF, V)
Guests can enhance their National Taco Day celebrations by adding a signature cocktail from Puesto’s craft bar program, which features freshly squeezed juices, house-made sodas, and a curated list of agave spirits (tequilas, mezcals, sotols, bacanoras & raicillas) sourced from throughout Mexico.

Ohana Mai Tai Fundraiser All October

A coalition of nearly 20 generous Orange County restaurants have banded together for a delectable cause—the Ohana Mai Tai fundraiser. This initiative aims to extend support to their colleagues in Lahaina who endured the devastating wildfires in August. Throughout the month of October, these establishments will generously contribute 100% of the proceeds from Mai Tai sales to the Legacy of Aloha Foundation.
