Tudaloo Launches New Line At Port Streets Pop-Up
05.08.23
Jodi Salerno's passion for fashion and repurposing vintage items led her to create Tudaloo, a brand that embodies her love for style and sustainability. The brand name itself is a tribute to her maternal grandmother, Grandma Rose, who used to say “Tudaloo” as a way of bidding farewell to her grandchildren. The name is catchy and memorable, and it perfectly captures the essence of Jodi's brand.
Now, Tudaloo is launching a new line of products featuring the Newport Beach lips logo. The line includes sunglass cases, Newport Beach sweatshirts, Newport Beach half-zip sweatshirts, travel bags, and baseball caps. These products will be unveiled for the first time at the Port Streets pop-up on Friday, May 12th, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1900 Port Carlow Place.
For those unable to attend the pop-up event, Tudaloo products are available on Instagram @tudaloototes, at www.tudaloo.com, or by contacting Jodi at jodi@tudaloo.com.
The majority of Tudaloo's items are locally made in Orange County, where Jodi has lived for three decades. Her strong ties to Newport Beach played a significant role in Tudaloo's growth, and as the brand expanded, it gained a global presence. Clients loved the brand name so much that they started requesting items with a Tudaloo logo.
Jodi's paternal grandmother, Grandma Joey, was also an important influence on Tudaloo. A fashionista who never left the house without her signature lipstick, Grandma Joey would always leave her famous lip marks on her grandchildren's cheeks. Jodi decided to incorporate this legacy into her brand, creating the Tudaloo lips logo as a tribute to her grandmother.
For those unable to attend the pop-up event, Tudaloo products are available on Instagram @tudaloototes, at tudaloo.com, or by contacting Jodi at jodi@tudaloo.com.
With Tudaloo, Jodi has created a brand that is not only fashionable and eco-friendly but also has a special meaning behind it. By incorporating both of her grandmothers' legacies into her business, she has made Tudaloo a brand with heart and soul. Customers can wear Tudaloo with pride, knowing that they are supporting a business that values sustainability, family, and tradition.
