Michael’s On Naples Introduces Seasonal Menus for the Holidays
11.27.23
Michael's on Naples, a well-established Italian restaurant that champions farm-to-table cuisine in the Naples neighborhood of Long Beach, is unveiling a series of exclusive holiday dining experiences available until December 31st. Guests are warmly welcomed to indulge in the holiday spirit through a selection of delectable white truffle-infused dishes, a Christmas Eve celebration inspired by the Italian tradition of the Seven Fishes, and a lavish New Year's Eve Tasting Menu to welcome the upcoming year.
Now, until Christmas, while supplies last, Executive Chef Eric Samaniego at Michael's on Naples is elevating the restaurant's already exquisite Italian fare with the addition of imported white truffles from Italy. The specially crafted menu includes tantalizing options like Truffle-topped Tagliatelle, Risotto, and Pizze Tartufo Bianco, each priced at $115. Guests also have the option to enhance any menu item with truffle shavings for an additional $115.
For a memorable Christmas Eve (12/24) experience, Michael's on Naples is embracing the beloved Italian tradition of the Feast of the Seven Fishes. This exclusive tasting menu features five courses, offering two choices per course, and is priced at $90 per person or $140 with wine pairings. The menu showcases seafood-focused dishes such as Tagliatelle (hand-cut chickpea dough, Dungeness crab, calamari, prawns, and Livornese-style broth) and Branzino Ripieno (seared European seabass filled with scallop mousse, creamed leeks, fingerling potatoes, and crispy leeks). Reservations are highly recommended and available from 5 to 9 pm on Christmas Eve.
To culminate the holiday celebrations, Michael's on Naples will host a splendid New Year's Eve (12/31) extravaganza, featuring a prix-fixe tasting menu. Priced at $125, this chef-curated menu includes optional wine pairings by Michael's resident sommelier for an additional $60. Highlights from the menu include Carpaccio di Polipo (thin sliced Spanish octopus, balsamico sorbet, fried basil, and Sicilian olive oil) and Antilope (Porcini dusted Broken Arrow Ranch antelope loin, braised red endive, roasted mushrooms, and crispy shallots). Reservations are available from 5 to 10 pm on December 31st, and the exclusive prix-fixe NYE menu will be the sole offering. To mark the occasion, all guests that evening will enjoy a midnight champagne toast to welcome the New Year.
Michael’s on Naples is located at 5620 2nd St in Long Beach and is open seven days a week, every day from 5 to 10 p.m., as well as 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sundays for Sunday Brunch on the rooftop. Michael’s Market is open Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. To learn more about Michael’s on Naples, view the full menu, or stay up to date on upcoming events, please visit www.michaelsonnaples.com
