We can’t think of a better resource for cool socks for surf and skate enthusiast types in Orange County than at Active Ride. We shop at the Camp store in Costa Mesa where we pick up loads of its Active branded socks in summer colors, stripes and patterns.
Buy 3 for $12.99, or 5 for $20. Current favorites include the Rasta design, black/charcoal/red stripes, hot pink and orange. Orange County also has Active Ride Shops in Irvine, Brea, Huntington Beach and Tustin.

Just when we thought we knew where to go for massages, we discovered Samantha Ruster at Body Design in Newport Beach. The premiere athletic and wellness not only offers individualized and group sessions of Pilates, Gyrotonic, weight training, Coreboard, and TRX, but also offers spa services.
Ruster offers excellent massages at Body Design and offers in home sessions too. For new clients only, Ruster is offering 50% off for an in home massage at just $45. She specializes in therapeutic, deep tissue, pregnancy and relaxation massages. She’s great at what she does, and says that she’s loved every moment of her job for 12 years.
