We’re launching our first “Pin It to Win It” campaign on Greer’s OC Pinterest, and we want to know from you, through pictures, what you love about Orange County. We want to see creativity, imagination, and what speaks to you about this great place we call home. From the beaches to your favorite hotels, dining spots, boutiques, nature, or even people who inspire you. There are no limits. On, July 31st we’ll announce the winning pin and give a $100 gift card to Scott’s Restaurant & Bar in Costa Mesa, near South Coast Plaza.
Participants must simply follow Greer’s OC on Pinterest and repin your favorite Orange County picture using the hashtag #WeLoveOrangeCounty. Thanks to all who want to participate and to our loyal readers.

Free Movie Mondays Continues

Free Movie Mondays continues tonight at Segerstrom Center with the screening of the classic “An American in Paris” with its famed score by George and Ira Gershwin starring Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron. Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” screens on July 23; “Yentl” directed, co-written, co-produced, and starring Barbra Streisand screens on July 30; and “The Music Man” an audience favorite screens on August 6.
Free Movie Mondays are projected on the side of Segerstrom Hall on the Center’s Arts Plaza at dusk, or around 8 p.m. Just bring portable chairs, snacks, or even a picnic. Patina Catering will also sell snacks and drinks. Segerstrom Center for the Arts is at 600 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa. For more information, call 714.556.2787.
