CHEF MICHAEL MINA HOSTS SALVADOR DALI-INSPIRED DINNER AT STONEHILL TAVERN

Stonehill Tavern at The St. Regis Monarch Beach in Dana Point will host a one-of-a-kind Dali-inspired dining experience with a wine reception followed by a food and art pairing on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 6:30 p.m.

Guests of this intimate evening will have the chance to mingle with Chef Michael Mina at a wine reception, view original Dali art on loan from Galerie Moderne and indulge in Chef Raj Dixit’s artful five-course menu with wine pairings inspired by the drama and marvel of Dali’s original color wood engravings.

Sommelier at Stonehill Tavern, Paul Coker, will be pairing distinctive wines for each dish while Galerie Moderne Director Rich MacDonald will be on-hand to provide insight on the history of the works.

Appetizer starts with Spicy Tuna Ribbon Crudo with Asian pear, garlic, toasted pine nuts, habanero
Leitz Riesling ‘Drachenstein’, Rheingau, Germany 2011

First course is Jack Be Little Pumpkin, a carnaroli risotto, with Maine lobster and garlic emulsion
Capensis Chardonnay ‘Crocodiles Lair’, Western Cape, South Africa 2013

Second course is Rack of Colorado Lamb with smoked potato, langres cheese, zucchini mint puree, natural lamb jus
Bodega De Edgar Red Blend ‘Mis Pasos’, Paso Robles, California 2011

Third course is Sottocenere with black truffles, grey ash, caramelized leeks.

Dessert is Paradiso Fantasy, a sweet and salty decadence.

Karaoke 7 Nights A Week
