OC Fashion Week Kicks Off Sunday
03.11.16
Orange County’s most glamorous and stylish week of the year--OC Fashion Week presented by Maserati of Newport Beach March 13-16—features incredible runway fashions and events showcasing local talent, models, hair, beauty and fashion designers as well as international designers presented by Orange County Fashion Council.
OC Fashion Week kicks off Sunday, March 13, as OC Fashion Week sponsor Dawson Cole Fine Art hosts an opening reception cocktail gala in Laguna Beach to mark the official opening day of OC Fashion Week with the fashionably responsible programs that give back.
The OC Fashion Council initiative starts their A/W 2016 seasons with a year of fashionably responsible advocacy programs and a finale to support vocational and educational endeavors in fashion. As such, the night begins with a special tribute to the charities JDRF, on a mission to help create a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D), as well as the Orangewood Foundation.
Maserati of Newport Beach is also sponsoring the night’s event and will bring luxurious Maseratis to an evening of fine art and high fashion. The Opening Reception includes the fine artwork of Richard MacDonald, a contemporary figurative artist known for creating incredible bronze sculptures of the human form that has been displayed in countless galleries, public areas, and in the homes of celebrities and public figures. Dawson Cole Fine Art will open his Sculpture Garden in a Special Private Invitational.
A very special featured International Designer will be announced whose work has been showcased on three continents. By combining Mediterranean colors with Italian refinement, his work can be seen on Royal Arabic families, Hollywood celebrities, and now, in this year’s OC Fashion Week. The cars, the fashion and the fine art make this charitably focused, awe-inspiring event at Dawson Cole Fine Art Gallery an exclusive experience you can’t afford to miss.
This year's OC Fashion Week will have a portion of the ticket proceeds donated to non-profit children's charities which include JDRF and Orangewood Foundation.
Tickets to Opening Day Fine Arts Fashion are available here for $150 per person.
