Celebrate National Taco Day at Puesto

It’s a great week to dine at Puesto—taste the new fall menu that rolls out this week and get a FREE taco on National Taco Day!

Executive Chef/Partner Luisteen Gonzalez and Executive Creative Chef Katy Smith just debuted Mexico City-inspired seasonal dishes such as Crepas de Elote - masa crepa with creamy avocado salsa and Chef Katy’s hot sauce; Ribeye Asada for Two - 16-ounce Cedar River Farms ribeye served tableside with queso Oaxaca, chile poblano and fresh salsas; the Grilled Lamb Taco - salsa de pasilla, jalapeño crema, pickled onion and cilantro; and Spicy Mexican Shrimp - Mexican white shrimp, market fish, pulpo, avocado, salsa campechana and Tajin-roasted peanuts.

Its Taco of the Month: the Squash & Braised Cabbage is FREE on National Taco Day on Thursday, Oct. 4 at both OC locations. You simply have to dine in the restaurant and show that you are following @eatpuesto on Instagram! It’s made with house-made blue corn tortillas, crispy melted cheese and scratch salsas.

A Restaurant Celebrates 10 Years with Specials

A Restaurant is pleased to present a month of Social Hour specials in celebration of the restaurant’s 10th anniversary in October.

The tenth month of the year welcomes a menu of ten items for ten dollars, courtesy of Executive Chef Jonathan Blackford. Indulge in menu favorites like the “A” Burger with blue, onion, arugula, bacon and 1000 island or the Crispy Duck Salad with arugula, lentils, shallots, carrots, spiced vinaigrette, and parsnips. Sip on A’s celebratory cocktail, the Black Tie Martini composed of Ketel One Citroen Vodka and Nolet Gin with Lillet blanc, served up in a martini glass with a lemon twist or try a variety of Kettle One Botanical cocktails.

The 10th Anniversary Social Hour Menu at $10 each is available during Social Hour from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Choose from Spicy Yellow Tuna with Crispy eggplant, sriracha aioli, sweet soy. The “A” Burger with Blue, onion, arugula, bacon, 1000 island; Hatch Chili Sausage Chochoyotes, hatch chile, Oaxaca cheese; Brussels Leaves with Lemon, butter, capers, grilled bread; and Fried Green Tomatoes with Carolina bbq, rogue smokey blue, and herb salad; or the Crispy Duck Salad with Arugula, lentils, shallots, carrots, spiced vinaigrette, parsnips.

The 10th Anniversary Cocktail Menu at $10 each is available during restaurant hours. Choose from Black Tie Martini with Ketel One Citroen Vodka and Nolet Gin with Lillet blanc, served up in a martini glass with a lemon twist; Kettle One Botanical Cucumber & Mint, with soda; Kettle One Botanical Grapefruit & Rose, with soda; and Kettle One Botanical Peach & Orange Blossom, with soda.

Open 4-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 4-11 p.m. Friday; 5-11 p.m. Saturday; and 5-10 p.m. Sunday.
