Brodard Restaurant Plans Long Beach Opening at 2ND & PCH

02.27.26

Brodard Restaurant, known for its refined Vietnamese cuisine and meaningful family story, has announced plans to open a new location at the 2ND & PCH shopping center in 2026. The expansion brings the beloved restaurant to one of Long Beach’s most popular coastal shopping and dining destinations.

The Brodard story is rooted in resilience and a deep love of food. Founder Diane Dang grew up in Nha Trang, Vietnam, where her family were third-generation owners of Hoa Binh, a well-known French bakery. After immigrating to the United States with her husband, Thuong, and their three children in 1986, the family set out to open a bakery of their own. When Thuong suffered a stroke in 1996, Diane stepped in to lead the business, drawing from what she knew best. Those early influences came from her mother’s home-cooked meals and the elegant gatherings she remembered from her youth, where food brought family and friends together.

Now celebrating 25 years in business, Brodard Restaurant continues to serve Diane’s signature Vietnamese dishes with the same thoughtful approach and refined presentation. The restaurant focuses on fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from local markets, a commitment that has helped make it a longtime favorite in Orange County’s Little Saigon since the 1990s.

The new Brodard Restaurant location will open at 2ND & PCH, 6480 E. Pacific Coast Highway, Suite 100, Long Beach.
