Final Days to Experience Bowers Museum’s Dazzling Titanium Garden
04.08.25
After captivating visitors for months, The Eternal Garden: Titanium Art by Aka Chen is entering its final days at Bowers Museum. The acclaimed exhibition, which marks Taiwanese artist Aka Chen’s first U.S. solo show, will close Sunday, April 13.
Celebrated for its breathtaking blend of traditional Eastern aesthetics and contemporary craftsmanship, The Eternal Garden showcases more than 20 titanium works—from intricate vases to expansive polyptychs—evoking the serenity of classical gardens through luminous metalwork and poetic, floral-inspired forms.
To mark the exhibition’s closing, Bowers will host a special lecture Sunday, April 13 at 1:30 p.m. in the Norma Kershaw Auditorium. Art historian Dr. Xu Yang will present “The Art and Cultural Legacy of Chinese Gardens,” offering insight into the themes behind Chen’s titanium masterpieces.
A VIP reception for Bowers Patrons and above will follow the lecture, celebrating the success of the exhibition and the generous community of supporters who made it possible.
The Eternal Garden is presented in collaboration with Aka Chen and international partners. For lecture registration and museum details, visit bowers.org/akachen.
