Paint the Town Pink Fashion Event

Join us at Los Cerritos Center’s signature Paint the Town Pink fashion event celebrating National Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Thursday, Oct. 3 from 5 to 9 p.m. You can “Think Pink” and experience a luxurious fashion lounge, a fashion show featuring fall collections from select Los Cerritos Center retailers and enjoy an evening of shopping while supporting a great cause.

The first 500 guests to arrive at Paint the Town Pink and walk the pink carpet will receive a signature Think Pink Fashion Tote filled with items donated by Los Cerritos Center shops and partners. The Think Pink Lounge will open at 5 p.m. and include Kaiser Permanente and Nordstrom Lingerie Department displays, foods from California Pizza Kitchen and Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar and signature pink mocktails.

The Paint the Town Pink Fashion Show will kick-off at 6 p.m. and showcase the latest fall trends from Nordstrom, Macy’s, New York & Company, GUESS, The Limited, White House Black Market, bebe, Cache and more with hair by Regis Salon and make-up compliments of M-A-C Cosmetics. Seating for the fashion show opens on at 5 p.m.

Shoppers can also take advantage of special breast cancer awareness products offered at the participating retail stores from 5 to 9 p.m.

Fall/Winter Runway Fashions Hit Max Mara

Straight from the runway in Milan, the latest Max Mara fall/winter Sfilata (runway) collection just hit the Max Mara boutique at South Coast Plaza.

The chic and relaxed collection features design elements from the Bauhaus movement, with function, simplicity and modernist touches that are at the core of Max Mara’s style. In comes the duffle coats and overcoats, cardigan coats, blouses, cocoon bombers, sweaters, oversize jackets and fluid trousers as well as pencil skirts and feminine dresses that are perfect for the season.

The fall/winter fabrics and colors are classic and timeless, such as the maxi cable cashmere, camelhair, cashmere fabrication, velvet and shearling as well as the new camel fabrics from spun alpaca that feel as soft as fur in a range of greys, from stone to blues and blacks, or yarn-dyed stripes.

To make these looks even better, Max Mara’s new Croc Jbag arrived in the coveted Midnight Navy, as well as must-have Sfilata Ginnica sneakers that come in camel and Midnight navy with snake trim.
