Shucked Musical Comedy Heads to Segerstrom Center November 11–23
11.08.25
Get ready to laugh. Segerstrom Center for the Arts presents Shucked, the Tony Award-winning musical comedy The Wall Street Journal calls “flat out hilarious,” performing in Segerstrom Hall from November 11 to 23, 2025.
Shucked features a sharp book by Tony Award winner Robert Horn, and a score of memorable, radio-ready songs by Grammy Award winners and Nashville hitmakers Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally. The production is directed with warmth and joyful energy by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien.
What happens when a slightly neurotic New York comedy writer teams up with two Nashville music stars? A bold and irreverent farm-to-fable musical about America’s favorite obsession: corn. Shucked is a laugh-out-loud comedy that reminds us that sometimes breaking down walls is the best way to move forward. It is musical theater with heart, humor, and a fresh perspective for a divided nation.
Tickets start at $39 and are available at scfta.org, at the box office at 600 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa, or by phone at 714.556.2787. For group ticket inquiries of 10 or more, call 714.755.0236.
