Evening of Excellence for Youth Employment Services

Join An Evening of Excellence for Youth Employment Service (YES) on Thursday, Sept. 28 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Promenade & Gardens in Costa Mesa. The event raises funds that directly support our community’s youth. YES’s mission is to teach youth and young adults the skills needed to secure and maintain meaningful employment, and to offer programs that help young people improve their employability, career choices and quality of life. The event will celebrate two outstanding Orange County business mentors – Kristin Williams from Ultra Mobile and Patricia Aguilar from McDonald’s Newport Beach -- for their ongoing commitment to hire and develop YES graduates through mentoring and for outstanding support of young adults as they transition into the workforce.
YES provides a customized curriculum that fosters opportunities for personal growth, self-discovery, maturity and accelerated career exploration. In partnership with more than 200 employers, YES collaborates with Orange County schools and youth-serving organizations to help young adults develop skills that enhance employability, while providing local companies access to trained resources.
Individual tickets can be purchased by calling YES at 949.642.8306. Tickets cost $130 per ticket.
The Promenade & Gardens is at 1570 Scenic Avenue in Costa Mesa.
