Fly N’ Fish Oyster Bar & Grill’s Chowder for a Cause

To celebrate National Seafood Month, Fly n’ Fish Oyster Bar & Grill, known for specializing in fresh, high-quality seafood in Newport Beach, will launch their annual Chowder for a Cause campaign to raise funds for CHOC Hospital.

Throughout the month of October, proceeds from every bowl of New England Clam Chowder sold are collected and will be donated in early November. Owners and restaurateurs Rick and Steve Loomis, who have been in the hospitality industry for nearly four decades, wanted a way to give back to their community and have raised over $30,000 since 2015 through this annual fundraiser.

#THEPINKFACIAL at Newport Face N Body

In recognition of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Newport Face N Body, a luxurious Medspa in Irvine has partnered with UCI to support The Lawson Lab, a research facility dedicated to identifying the cellular and molecular mechanisms that cause cancer cells to metastasize. 

They'll be donating a portion of the sales from each Pink Facial to breast cancer research. Other services available at Newport Face N Body include micro needling, microdermabrasion, hydro dermabrasion, body sculpting, and no-needle mesotherapy.

Open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday – Saturday; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
