El Torito Westminster Celebrates a New Look

El Torito in Westminster has a brand-new look and is celebrating with a grand re-opening party on Thursday, November 21. The local hot-spot invites the public to join in on the celebration which will feature Free Tacos (Chicken, Steak, Carnitas & Fish), Happy Hour Specials all-day, a mariachi will perform from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. and there will be a DJ from 7 p.m. - close.
Guests will enjoy a refreshed restaurant with a remodel that includes: new quartz bar top, remodeled lounge area, new flooring throughout the restaurant, as well as new signage and interior and exterior paint.
This is one of many planned renovations to all El Torito locations as part of their growth strategy, under new management, Xperience Restaurant Group, which purchased the restaurant company in October of 2018.
Open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Wednesday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Broadway Stars Benefit Show at Irvine Hebrew Day School

For one night only, Irvine Hebrew Day School proudly presents a benefit show featuring Broadway stars, Tony-nominated star Jarrod Spector: Jukebox Life, and Broadway’s Adam Ben-David, along with local OCSA students on Saturday, November 23 at 7 p.m. at IHDS Auditorium in Santa Ana. The special performance benefits the Irvine Hebrew Day School Arts Program.
Knock-out performer, former Jersey Boys star and 2014 Broadway Tony Nominee, Jarrod Spector perform in Jukebox Life, an evening of Broadway, rock n' roll, and crooner classics that traces Spector's journey from Philly to LA to New York City. Highlighting terrible and wonderful auditions, "Mr. Jukebox Musical" will sing alongside Adam Ben-David combining archival childhood footage with innovative covers of classic songs for an evening that follows Jarrod Spector from his childhood home in Philadelphia to the Broadway stage.
