'Tis the season to enjoy holiday cocktails at The Recess Room in Fountain Valley. It's bringing cheer to the OC with a month-long celebration: North Pole at The Recess Room. Think themed holiday cocktails with festive glassware and decked out holiday décor that’ll transport you to the North Pole. The special holiday cocktail menu is available through the end of December.
An upbeat, pop Christmas playlist will up the holiday ambiance, with DJs playing sets every Friday evening.
- Bad Santa’s Milk and Cookies -- smooth ambler contradiction, blended scotch, cognac, Venezuelan rum, milk, eggs, served with a cookie on the side
- Red Nosed Punch -- malfy gin, brandy, blend of amaro, cranberry, citrus, ginger
- Dill or No Dill -- absolut elyx, pisco, vermouth, menthe, cream, honeydew
- Under The Mistletoe --- the Glenlivet founders reserve, amaretto, vanilla, whole egg, chocolate mole bitters
- Starbucks At North Pole -- jameson, coffee, heavy cream, coffee (served warm)
- Saint Nicholas’ Old Fashioned -- los altos tequila reposado, Canadian whiskey, Porto, maple, aromatic bitters
- Rudolph’s Tipsy -- el aaguey vida mezcal, passion fruit
Reservations are suggested. Holiday cocktails are served for dinner only. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.

Holiday Market POP-UP at Furnishing Hope

Furnishing Hope home store in Newport Beach is having a one-day holiday market on Saturday, Dec. 7 from noon to 6 p.m. Shop local vendors and handmade goods. Enjoy the season with treats, raffle. prizes and activities for the kids.
Furnishing Hope provides home furnishings and supplies to families in crisis as they transition to independent living. Through thoughtful design, we empower families as they regain independence, dignity, and stability. It is our vision to stop the cycle of homelessness.
FH HOME Store is at Westcliff Plaza at 1100 Irvine Avenue in Newport Beach.
