The COVID-19 pandemic has hit the beloved Alzheimer's Family Center in Huntington Beach hard. Their seniors need technology and comfort items to help cope with social isolation and loneliness. Teddy bears, robotic pets, and dolls can help nurture seniors and maintain emotional connections that are so critical during the COVID-19 pandemic.

National Falafel Day On Friday, June12 at Pita Pita

In celebration of National Falafel Day on Friday, June 12, Pita Pita will be donating a portion of all proceeds from its falafel sales, up to $500, to support Bracken’s Kitchen. Bracken’s Kitchen is committed to distributing quality, healthy meals, directly to those in need focusing on children, veterans, and seniors.

Choose between oven-baked falafels or gently fried in all-natural vegetable oil. Either way, they’re crisp on the outside, soft and bursting flavors of mashed chickpeas and spices within.

Pita Pita has three locations in Laguna Hills, Aliso Viejo and Costa Mesa.
