WonderCon Returns to Anaheim March 28-30

One of the country’s premier comics and pop culture conventions, WonderCon returns to the Anaheim Convention Center March 28-30, bringing together more than 50,000 fans and industry leaders for an incredible weekend of comics, sci-fi, anime, cosplay, and film culture.

Produced by Comic-Con International, WonderCon transforms a 412,000-square-foot Exhibit Hall into a haven for collectors, creatives, and pop culture enthusiasts. With more than 900 exhibitors, the convention floor will be packed with comics, original art, toys, and exclusive merchandise from top artists, publishers, and retailers.

Beyond the show floor, attendees can expect exclusive movie and television programming, including a 25th anniversary celebration of The Emperor’s New Groove with the film’s director and writer. There will also be speaker panels, autograph signings, games, anime screenings, and the beloved WonderCon Masquerade. Plus, fan-favorite brands Funko, Loungefly, and Mondo are back with exciting new exclusives.

World-Class Training Returns: Sunday Master Class Series at ABT Gillespie School

The American Ballet Theatre William J. Gillespie School at Segerstrom Center for the Arts is bringing back its Sunday Master Class Series, offering young dancers an exclusive opportunity to refine their skills with world-class instructors. Designed for intermediate and advanced dancers ages 10 and up with a strong classical ballet foundation, the series provides expert training across multiple disciplines.

Esteemed instructors include Gillian Murphy (Principal Dancer, ABT), Ethan Stiefel (former ABT Principal Dancer and artistic director), Alberto Blanco (Sarasota Ballet), Eric Tamm (former ABT dancer, Principal Faculty at Gillespie School), Susan Brooker (Artistic Director, Gillespie School), and Sarah Jones (Associate Director, Gillespie School).

As the sister school to the ABT JKO School in New York, the Gillespie School delivers the same world-class training to West Coast students. The Sunday Master Class Series features classes in Technique, Pointe, Variations/Repertoire, Character, Modern, and Body Conditioning, ensuring a comprehensive dance education.
